KUWAIT: Salmiya detectives are working to identify a thief who broke into three flats in one building at the same time before escaping with goods worth KD 6,000 and passports. The flats owners – Syrian, Egyptian and Indian – discovered upon their return to their flats that the doors were smashed and cupboards were opened.
Brotherly hate Two brothers had a fight in Sulaibkhat over disputes between their wives in Egypt, but before police could take any action, their elder brother solved the problem and took them with him. An hour later, one of the brothers returned to the police station bleeding from his head, as the fight renewed between the wives back home, which in turn renewed the fight between the brothers. He was taken to Sabah Hospital for treatment while the other brother was arrested.

Rape attempt foiled A Syrian woman escaped from her ex-boyfriend, who abducted her at knifepoint to take her to his flat with the intention to rape her, but her screams drew the attention of passersby who called police. A security source said the woman, who is in her thirties, broke up with her boyfriend three months ago. Detectives are looking for the suspect.
